Dear students,

We are so excited to announce our return to Montreal and our partnership with one of the most amazing and unique yoga centres in Canada. Yoga Resource headed by Carina Raisman is breaking amazing ground with a core program dedicated towards providing and teaching yoga therapy. She has a strong academic background in health sciences, and integrates anatomy, physiology, immunology, cognitive psychology and yoga to establish and maintain balance between the Stress Response and the Relaxation Response.

We can’t think of a better Montreal home to share Thai Massage. Our practice is a 2500 year old tradition in yoga therapy, where we take a 1 on 1 approach to provide a treatment that is the expression of metta or loving kindness and compassion. We envision an incredible evolution of traditional practices and the modern approach of yoga therapy into the greatest understanding and utilizion of touch therapy.

The weekend of Dec. 8-9 2012 we are begining with a 12 hour course that will give you all the tools to give an incredible 1 hour Thai Massage.

This class is perfect – and I mean perfect (!)- for:

– Yoga teachers and enthusiasts who want to incorporate high level assists and add a profound way to practice one on one yoga therapy
– Everyone who has taken a short intro in Thai Massage who is ready to refresh and learn new moves that will transform what you have learned into a great skill
– Anyone interested in learning Thai Massage professionally and just itching to get their feet wet!

Thai Massage is one of the most incredible ways to practice yoga and to share the benefits of harmony, peace and wellness with your clients and the people you care for most. This foundations course will help you to work with people to alleviate sore and overworked muscles, pain from old injuries, tired and stressed out bodies, and much more.

A great treatment is defined by how good it is to receive and to give. As such it is a moving meditation of grace and skill and you don’t have to be an expert in order to produce outstanding results. This workshop will show you how to tap into your own innate abilities to give a sensational treatment. In this 12 hour course, you will learn how to deliver an outstanding 60-minute yoga massage, focusing on

Assisted therapeutic yoga postures
Safe and effective stretches and massage for neck, head, shoulders, arms, back, legs, and feet.
The power of loving touch

The gift of compassionate touch is empowering, incredible, and available to everyone ready to discover it.

-Class is taking place Dec. 8 and 9. 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm on Saturday and Sunday

-Cost is $225
