Seems like a big promise to be able to lose weight doing yoga and in just 20 minutes! Sometimes I also wonder why you would do yoga specifically to lose weight? Isn’t yoga about the inner journey?
It just might be, but yoga is also about helping us to feel good and helping us to know ourselves. If we have pounds we feel we need to shed there are many worse things we can try besides yoga! Sadie is an awesome teacher and one thing she alludes to right away that I totally agree with and have learned from other teachers is that weight loss is triggered through work to our legs and lower body. She does a great job putting together a sequence that will get you moving and is a pro at explaining the postures while demonstrating it.
